Biogas integration

Valbio's global systems offering includes integration of the biogas energy in the Customer's processes.

When the energy from the biogas produced is lower than the Customer's site energy requirements, Valbio recommends the utilisation of the biogas energy in the Customer's process. This is usually implemented using a biogas compatible burner on the Customer's boiler. The biogas is consumed first, and the substituted fossil fuel is used as a complement to meet energy requirement peaks.

When the biogas energy is greater that the site's requirements, or when the site already has a renewable energy source (biomass boiler, photovoltaic, ...), Valbio recommends heat and power cogeneration (CHP) solutions to make the best use of the biogas.

In partnership with ATIS Technologies, a sister company of Valbio Canada, Valbio can also offer to work on the optimisation of the energy efficiency of the Customer's processes.
