Research and Development

Valbio works continuously on improving its anaerobic digestion technology in order to allow its Customers to remain at the forefront of waste water treatment performance and efficiency.

Valbio participates in several R&D programs, in partnership with research institutes:

* improvement of phosphorous and nitrogen removal by physico-chemical precipitation upstream and downstream from anaerobic digestion processes.

* improvement of the digestibility of inbound products, especially the more solid and heterogeneous products, in order to improve the performance of infinitely stirred AD reactors.

Valbio is in the process of patenting several performance related features of its Methacore anaerobic digestion technology.
