Profile

Valbio is focussed on the treatment of industrial effluents and of urban waste water using anaerobic digestion.

  • Anaerobic digestion is a biological process which transforms organic matter into biogas. Biogas is a renewable energy which contains up to 70% methane (CH4); it can replace fossil fuels which are more expensive and more armful for the environment.
  • Anaerobic digestion removes organic waste in effluents. Valbio provides global solutions which include all pre or post treatment processes required to achieve compliance with the regulatory constraints imposed on industry for waste water treatment.
  • Building on its experience in energy efficiency, Valbio provides global solutions which integrate the use of biogas in the Customer's production processes.
  • Valbio guarantees the waste removal performance of its global waste water treatment solutions.

Valbio is a French private company, incorporated in 2006; our activity started in 2004 within a French group of environmental service. Valbio opened in 2007 a subsidiary in Canada , Valbio Canada Inc., whose focus is on the anaerobic digestion of farming waste and residual waste.

Valbio has designed, build and commissioned more than 100 waste water treatment plants (WWTP), of which 15 use anaerobic digestion to treat effluents of the food and beverage industry, mainly in the cheese and dairy segments.

Valbio has delivered turnkey WWTPs in France, Greece and Canada. Valbio is currently pursuing its business development in Chile, Brazil, Spain and the United Kingdom.
